I’ve been playing with my new toys from the Occasions Mini. I think this is my favorite mini yet! I needed two projects for my downline meeting yesterday and cased these two from Splitcoaststampers.

Stamps: Time For You
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel
Ink: Basic Brown, Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Close to Cocoa, Barely Banana
Accessories: WW Crayons, Aquapainter, Blender Pen, Wild Wasabi Double-Stitched Ribbon
Cased from: Nitestamper
*I absolutely love Nitestamper’s card! I made a very simple version that wouldn’t take as much time at the meeting.

Stamps: For Father
Paper: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, Afternoon Tea DSP
Ink: Basic Brown
Accessories: WW Crayons, Aquapainter, Natural Hemp Twine, Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Round Tab Punch, Stampin Sponges, Cutter Kit
Cased from: Stampin Susie
*Again, a very simple version of an awesome card.

Happy Valentines Day!
Hubby and I foolishly thought we could go out to eat tonight and, even though we were early and thought we were beating the crowd, there was an hour and half wait. We decided not to wait and stopped at the local chili parlor instead. We had the whole section to ourselves and they brought out real red napkins and a candle for the table. It was really kinda cute!
Now that we’re home I finally have a chance to post something…

Stamps: Bloomin Beautiful, Polka Dot
Paper: Summer Sun, Sage Shadow, Lovely Lilac, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Gray, Summer Sun
Accessories: WW Crayons, Aquapainter, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware

Here’s my latest project…I cased it out of the current catalog (with slight changes). I absolutely loved this set when it first came out but apparently so did everyone else. I would see it everywhere and eventually got burned out. I put it away and didn’t want to see it for a while. Now that Blossoms fever has simmered down I thought I would pull it out again and I really enjoyed stamping with it.

Stamps: Blossoms Abound, Polka Dots & Paisley
Paper: Naturals Ivory, Very Vanilla, Elegant Eggplant & Old Olive
Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive
Accessories: Elegant Eggplant 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon
I used the stamping off technique to stamp the leaves onto the vanilla cardstock and then cut them out. I used that same technique to stamp the flowers.
