Blossoms Abound

Published by at 9:41 am under Stampin'

Here’s my latest project…I cased it out of the current catalog (with slight changes).  I absolutely loved this set when it first came out but apparently so did everyone else.  I would see it everywhere and eventually got burned out.  I put it away and didn’t want to see it for a while.  Now that Blossoms fever has simmered down I thought I would pull it out again and I really enjoyed stamping with it.

Stamps:  Blossoms Abound, Polka Dots & Paisley

Paper:  Naturals Ivory, Very Vanilla, Elegant Eggplant & Old Olive

Ink:  Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive

Accessories:  Elegant Eggplant 1/4″ Grosgrain Ribbon

I used the stamping off technique to stamp the leaves onto the vanilla cardstock and then cut them out.  I used that same technique to stamp the flowers.

  7. Very pretty card! This is one of my favorite sets and I don’t use it nearly enough… can’t wait for spring to get here so I’ll have a good excuse to pull it out and use it LOTS.

  8. I love this set and what you have done with it. I especially like the cut out leaves–so dimensional.

What a beautiful card – love this set anyway – it is so pretty with the two-step stamping. Your color combo is stunning too!
