Here is the other card we did at the technique class:

Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral
Paper: 12×12 Soft Subtles Textured, Whisper White
Ink: Blush Blossom Classic Ink Pad
Accessories: Big Shot, Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Die, Corner Rounder Punch, Whisper White Organza Ribbon, Filigree Designer Brads
Technique: Tri-Fold
Inspired by: www.stampingschool.com
Cut the main card 5-1/2” x 12”. Use Manhattan Flower die on each side of cardstock (arrow facing front and up on the right-hand side, arrow facing back and up on the left-hand side). Score each end at 4”. You may have to trim a little on the inside flap. Cut out top part of card as shown. Use corner rounder on top corners of base and inside piece. To create the ribbon:
insert each end of ribbon thru outside petals of the filigree hardware and tie a knot
Slip the ribbon off the card and turn inside out
Slip back on the card and trim edges of ribbon
By turning it inside out your not hiding parts of the hardware and get to enjoy the whole design of the flower.

Here is one of the projects we made at my last technique class:

Stamps: Fifth Avenue Floral, Only Ovals
Paper: Regal Rose, Glossy White, Cameo Coral
Ink: Jet Black Stazon Pad, Basic Black Classic Ink Pad, Real Red Classic Ink Refill, Summer Sun Classic Ink Refill, Cameo Coral Classic Ink Refill
Accessories: Stampin Dimensionals, Top Note Sizzix Bigz Die, Wide Oval Punch, Crimper, 6×6 Page Protector, So Saffron 5/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon (Retired)
Technique: Ink Splat
Inspired by: www.stampingschool.com
To create the rose, take a clear folder (you can cut the edges off a page protector) and drip one drop of each color ink onto the inside center of the folder.

Spritz each drop with water.

Place the cardstock (3.5″ x 3.5″) glossy side down onto the ink, close the folder and flip over.

Using your index finger, smoosh the ink around until all the white is covered on the cardstock. You can continue smooshing the colors until you get the look you want.

Remove cardstock from the folder and set aside to dry. Stamp the rose image with Stazon ink and cut it out.
See my next post for the other project.
